Teaching spaces have lived with a bad trade-off for twenty years: either enough light to write, or dark enough to see the screen. LED removes the choice. The surface makes its own light and holds contrast with the ceiling lights at full, so students can read, take notes and see each other at the same time. We deliver pixel pitches from P1.2 to P1.8 in teaching rooms, tight enough for citations, formulas and code to stay sharp at the back of the hall. There is also no lamp that fades over time or needs replacing mid-semester.
Built to perform
No blackout needed
The surface holds contrast with the ceiling lights on. Students can take notes and read at the same time, and the lecturer can see the room they are addressing.
Sharp text at the back
P1.2 to P1.8 keeps formulas, code and citations legible from the back row. No soft edges on small type sizes.
No lamp to change
LED does not fade the way a projector lamp does, and there is no consumable to replace mid-semester. The image is as strong on the last teaching day as the first.
Connects to what is used
Accepts signal from laptops, document cameras, streaming and video conferencing. Lecturers connect as before, with no new equipment to learn.
Format to the room
A wide surface in a large auditorium, or a taller format where the ceiling is low. Multiple surfaces can be configured for halls with columns or difficult sight lines.
Quiet enough for lectures
Can be supplied without fans, so the room is quiet when it needs to be. Fan noise at the front of a hall disturbs both recording and lecture.
