Construction & Design

When the screen format is non-standard, the building is listed or the load path is complicated — we engineer the structure around the requirement.

Most LED installations require more than a bracket off the shelf. Facade-mounted totems, freestanding column displays, curved screen structures for arena concourses, ceiling-suspended arrays in listed buildings — each demands a bespoke structural solution. LEDFRONT designs and fabricates custom mounting systems, screen cabinets and support structures in-house, coordinating static calculations, 3D modelling and production to deliver a structure that fits both the screen and the architecture.

What we deliver
01

3D design and visualisation

Every custom structure starts with a 3D model. We produce detailed CAD drawings and rendered visualisations so you can review the design in context before fabrication begins. Drawings are also used for building permit applications and contractor coordination.

02

Static calculations and engineering sign-off

All structural designs include load calculations covering screen weight, wind load and — for public installations — seismic and crowd-impact factors where required. Calculations are produced by or reviewed with a qualified structural engineer and provided as part of the project documentation.

03

Custom fabrication

We fabricate in steel, aluminium and stainless steel depending on application — galvanised for exposed outdoor installations, powder-coated or brushed for interior-facing surfaces. Screen cabinets include ventilation, cable management and access provisions designed around the specific screen hardware.

04

Architectural integration

For installations in retail environments, public buildings or listed structures, we work with the architect and interior designer to ensure the mounting system disappears into the architecture. Slim profiles, concealed fixings and surface materials matched to the surrounding facade or interior finish.

How we work
01

Brief and site survey

We review the screen specification and visit the site to assess structural conditions, anchor points, wind exposure category and access requirements. For facade installations, we review building plans and coordinate with the building owner or facilities manager.

02

Design and engineering

We produce a 3D structural model, fabrication drawings and static calculations. For permit-required installations, we prepare the technical package for submission. You review and approve the design before fabrication begins.

03

Fabrication

Structures are fabricated to the approved drawings. Surface treatment — galvanising, powder coating or anodising — is applied before delivery. All fabrication is quality-checked against the engineering drawings before dispatch.

04

Installation and commissioning

The structure is installed by our certified team, working to the approved installation method statement. Screen panels are fitted, aligned and tested as part of the same programme of work. As-built drawings and structural sign-off documentation are included in the handover package.
